Researchers of Digital Learning Research (DLR) Lab visit to China and Thailand

Mr. Shaksham Baral and Mr. Manish Joshi visited to China and Thailand respectively.

Mr. Baral, a graduate student of Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DoCSE) and researcher at DLR Lab, visited Chengdu, China to participate in University Immersion Program (UIP) 2018 which was held in Sichuan University, from 8-21 July, 2018. The two-week UIP organized by Sichuan University was a unique summer program for international faculties and students to experience the pulse at the heart of China. This program was designed to convene faculties from all over the world to give short courses and lectures to both domestic and international students at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Similarly, Mr. Joshi, researcher at DLR Lab, participated in an International Conference on Advances in Business Management an Information Technology (ICABMIT). He presented a research paper entitled “Mining Educational Data: A Case Study of Kathmandu University”. The authors of this paper are Mr. Manish Joshi and Mr. Sushil Shrestha (Assistant Professor and Lead Researcher at DoCSE). The event was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 21-22 July, 2018.
